Better Engagement, Better Performance

As Houston ISD’s pilot school, Lamar High School tested LearnFit® Standing Desks for the duration of the 2015–16 school year. Because of overwhelming positive feedback from teachers, students and administrators, Houston ISD (the largest in Texas with 215K students) has approved LearnFit implementation at 200+ schools.

• Students are more involved with material, with options to sit or stand or move around room.
• With better focus in the classroom, kids of differing abilities all perform better.
• Tests scores are running higher than previous-year classes and classes in current year that use sitting desks, with gap widening through year.
