Bob works with schools and healthcare facilities around the globe to build greater awareness of the importance of active learnstyles and workstyles. He helps build ergonomic work environments that support the health and wellbeing of employees, caregivers, teachers and students in their diverse workflow and workstyle requirements.
In the education market, Bob has been instrumental in implementing Ergotron’s spotlight classroom program, piloting active classrooms in 15+ states nationally, and six countries worldwide. Bob channels his passion for liberating classroom design by working with schools to demonstrate the need for furniture that keeps pace with technology advancements, and also adapts to students’ varied learning styles. He has created and presented continuing education courses designed for educators, interior designers and school leaders. He works extensively with Fuel Up to Play 60, an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by the National Dairy Council and the NFL, in collaboration with the USDA, to help encourage today’s youth to lead healthier lives. He also partners with Let’s Move! Active Schools, a national initiative to ensure that 60 minutes of physical activity is a norm in K-12 schools across the country. Bob firmly believes that introducing standing desks and active classrooms can help unleash the learning and achievement protentional of today’s youth.
In healthcare, Bob brings over ten years of experience in the industry, observing clinician workflows and understanding EMR/clinician operational challenges. He knows the importance and significance of both nurse and patient engagement as well as the significance of nurse and patient experience on the healing process. Bob’s ideals are to help hospitals achieve positive HCAHPS scores and minimize readmissions.
